Besides creating stunning works for beloved classics and contemporary films, Mondo produces posters for featured Alamo Drafthouse events and inaugurated a "Director's Series" that will focus on a celebrated filmmaker's body of work. Mondo recently announced its first project as a game publisher with the adaptation for Hobo with a Shotgun, available exclusively on Appleâs App Store for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Championed for their limited edition screen printed posters, Mondo focuses on bringing art back to movie posters by working with artists such as Olly Moss, Tyler Stout, Martin Ansin and others. The poster release coincides with a recently announced 15-title, 25-year retrospective from Japanâs beloved Studio Ghibli, which plays the IFC Center in New York City from Friday, December 16 to Thursday, January 12. The 15-film retrospective is presented by GKIDS, a distributor of award-winning animated films.
